Character Counts
The PTA has joined with our school staff to begin fostering
in our children, more positive attitudes and habits related to various areas
of schoolwork. We have chosen character education as the focus of this initiative
and Character Counts as the theme. The six pillars of character are:
-
Caring
-
Responsibility
-
Citizenship
-
Respect
-
Trustworthiness
-
Fairness
Character is not something we are born with - it is something that is developed
over time. Families have been called the "school of character,"
the place where values are taught and learned. Our school and community are
an extension of that family. To that end the RFE community has assumed a leadership
role in developing the character of our student.
