     As we now reach the midpoint of the school year and find ourselves in the year 2010, I want to thank our committee chairs for all their hard work.  Since our last newsletter, we had many successful events such as the Book Fair, American Education Week, Cultural Arts assemblies, Winter Wonderland and Holiday Shop, several Family Events and Community Outreach drives to help the needy.  I want to thank all the volunteers that make each of these events such a success.

 

    Preparations for our winter and spring family events are well on the way. The PTA will be hosting quite a few events over the next few months and we hope we can count on your participation and support.  We still need committee chairs for Spring Fling.  Please contact a PTA officer if you are interested.

 

   Thank you to Jackie Allman for taking over our website updates. We are working together to communicate PTA information to our families. We ask that all committee chairs, please send Jackie all flyers and correspondence on upcoming events for your committee. Updates can be sent to  jackie.allman@comcast.net.

 

    As always, thank you to the families of Ring Factory for your support of the PTA sponsored activities.  If you have some extra time and are interested in helping in any of the PTA sponsored activities, please contact me or a committee chairperson. 

 

     As a reminder, the PTA meets the 1st Wednesday of each month.  Please check our calendar for dates and times.  We look forward to your suggestions and ideas; hope to see you at the next meeting.

Community Outreach

The Harford Food Bank Needs Your Help  Friday March 5 - Friday March 19

We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Harford Food Bank.  There will be Orange/Blue Bins in each of the pods.
